NYSHS is calling on members to submit to be HOD Delegates and Alternates
The annual meeting of the House of Delegates of the National Society for
Histotechnology will convene on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Providence,
R.I.
Constituent Societies may seat the President of the society or Presidential
alternate, and one (1) delegate or alternate for each fifty (50) NSH members in
that state. For the 2013 HOD, NYS has 4 open seats.
The requirements to serve as a delegate are: all individuals selected as
delegates or alternates must be current active NSH members in good standing for
at least one (1) year (this is interpreted as a calendar year) prior to the
meeting of the House of Delegates in order to be eligible to serve in the House.
